Meet Our Staff!

Kristine Felske - Owner/Trainer

Kristine is the owner of Kaybee’s K9 Training and a member of APDT. She has more than 25 years of dog training experience with over 2000 dogs. She breeds, shows, and competes in conformation, agility, and flyball with her Shelties. She is also a certified Assistance Dog Trainer for Paws-With-A-Cause and certified Pet Dog Trainer with CCPDT-KA

Amanda Reichert - Trainer

Amanda joined Kaybees in 2011 and has a career diploma from Penn Foster Career School for Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor. She is working towards being certified through CCPDT, and is a certified AKC CGC evaluater. She also competes in Flyball with her Dachsund, Max and "borrowed" bully, Abbey. Her second Dachsund, Molly, has been a certified Therapy Dog with TDI.

Jillian Gerhardt - Supervisor/In-House Designer

Jill joined Kaybees in 2009 and has taken the Obedience, Agility, Flyball, and Therapy dog classes with 5 different dogs. She certified her Pomeranian, "Maggie", with TDI in 2013 and participated in Paws To Read. She has been pet sitting since 2007 and has a BA in Graphic Design from SVSU.

Sheri White - Apprentice Trainer

Sheri is pursuing her secondary/retirement career as a dog trainer after retiring from Dow in 2016. She completed her certification from Animal Behavior College in 2017.

Jill Chanel - TDI Instructor

Jill is the owner of Critter Sitters and has been actively volunteering with Therapy Dogs International since 2002. Jill has been training her dogs for over 20 years and is most famous locally for rescuing and rehabilitating her deaf Dalmatian, Whitney. You can frequently find her and her TDI partner Molly the Beagle reading with kids as part of the Paws to Read program at the Alice and Jack Wirt public library on Center Ave.

Jessica Shorkey - Receptionist

Jessie took over the office in 2017. Although she doesn't have a dog of her own, she's a long-time animal lover and valued member of the team!

Dante Guidroz - Maintenance

Dante started out as a volunteer in 2015, and we liked him so much we kept him. He can be seen working on the yard or setting up the Dog Gym next door in the afternoon.

Allyson Scott - Dog Walker/Care and Maintenance

Al started volunteering with Dante on the weekends in 2016 and officially joined the team as an employee in 2017. She is an all around hard worker and shares the weiner dogs, Lulu and Shatter, with Dante.

Aaron Schwartz - Care and Maintenance

Aaron joined the team in 2017 as a co-op during his senior year at Central Highschool. He has attended the Veterinary Science class at the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center and plans to continue on the Vet Tech career path.

Natalie Morris - Care and Maintenance

Natalie joined our team in 2017 as a co-op during her senior year at Central Highschool. She has 4 dogs and has already attended Basic Obedience with her Pitti, Pandy. She has attended the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center's Veterinary Science class, and plans to continue on her career path to become a Veterinarian.

Christina Kababik - Weekend Kennel Assistant

Christina joined the team in 2017 while seeking experience to further her future career as a vet tech.

Kiley Lumsden - Care and Maintenance

Kiley joined the team in 2018 as a Co-op student from Central. She has attended the Veterinary Science class at the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center and and plans to continue on the veterinary career path.
