Kristine Felske - Owner/Trainer

Kristine is the owner of Kaybee’s K9 Training and a member of APDT. She has more than 25 years of dog training experience with over 2000 dogs. She breeds, shows, and competes in conformation, agility, and flyball with her Shelties. She is also a certified Assistance Dog Trainer for Paws-With-A-Cause and certified Pet Dog Trainer with CCPDT-KA

Amanda Reichert - Trainer

Amanda joined Kaybees in 2011 and has a career diploma from Penn Foster Career School for Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor. She is working towards being certified through CCPDT, and is a certified AKC CGC evaluater. She also competes in Flyball with her Dachsund, Max and bully mix, Flappy. Her second Dachsund, Molly, is a certified Therapy Dog with TDI.

Jillian Gerhardt - Supervisor/In-House Designer

Jill joined Kaybees in 2009 and has taken the Obedience, Agility, Flyball, and Therapy dog classes with 5 different dogs. She competes in Barn Hunt and Happy Ratters with her mini poodle mix, Filbert, and certified her (late) Pomeranian, Maggie, with TDI in 2013. She has been pet sitting since 2007 and has a BA in Graphic Design from SVSU.

Jill Chanel - TDI Instructor

Jill is the owner of Critter Sitters and has been actively volunteering with Therapy Dogs International since 2002. Jill has been training her dogs for over 20 years and is most famous locally for rescuing and rehabilitating her deaf Dalmatian, Whitney. You can frequently find her and her TDI partner Molly the Beagle reading with kids as part of the Paws to Read program at the Alice and Jack Wirt public library on Center Ave.

Natalie Morris - Apprentice Trainer

Natalie joined our team in 2017, and in 2020 officially made the move from care and maintenance to "trainer in training". She has attended the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center's Veterinary Science class, and plans to continue on her career path to become a Veterinarian. She currently competes in Barn Hunt and Happy Ratters with her bully mix, Pandi.

Jessica Shorkey - Receptionist

Jessie took over the office in 2017. Although she doesn't have a dog of her own, she's a long-time animal lover and valued member of the team!

Nathaniel Feinman - Maintenance

Nate officially joined the team in 2019, but has been hanging around helping out his fiance, Natalie, since she started in 2017. He can be seen working on the yard or setting up the classes next door in the afternoon.

Calista Layle - Dog Walker

Calista joined the team in 2019 while exploring new career paths and is proving to be a very dependable, hard worker! She moved "up" from Care/Maintenance to Dog Walker in the very same year.

Dominique Hanington - Care and Maintenance

Nikki joined us in 2020 to run the morning drop off shift. She has a career diploma from Penn Foster Career College for Dog Obedience and a career certificate for Veterinary Assistant from Stratford Career Institution. She is passionate about rescue dogs, and has owned them since she was just 7 years old.
